When we pray the prayer of salvation, meaning it from our hearts, and
we repent of our sins, God said that He would remember our sins
no more because the blood of Jesus washed them away!
NOTE:
Very Important!
If you have not yet prayed the prayer to receive Jesus as
your Lord and Savior,

Now we are ready to start on our new and exciting path. Remember,
as a new Christian, our spirit has been reborn! It’s our soul (mind,
will, emotion) – also known as our old nature – that needs to change.
We are “new creatures” (2 Corinthians 5:17) since we have received
Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
Steps to help:
- Start by reading the first four gospels in the New Testament
(this will help in understanding who Jesus is) - Spending time with the Lord (this is both talking and
listening – with listening being the most important!) - Find a bible believing, Spirit-filled church (one who believes
the gifts of the Spirit are active today) and get involved - Fellowship with like-minded believers
- Know that our Father is full of mercy, grace, and love. He
loves us, unconditionally, and He is on our side - Be aware that we have an enemy whose job is to disrupt
and distract us from God’s plans - Learn God’s word and use it to stand against the enemy,
encourage others and strengthen ourselves
The enemy has One job – To keep us out of heaven by deception, lies,
manipulation and the list goes on and on.
James 1:5 says that if we lack wisdom to ask the Father Who
gives generously
PRAYER:
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for filling me with discernment
and wisdom; so I can be “aware” of what’s going on around me
and in me! Amen
P.S. Aware is a word I will use often – it means realization and perception.
To change from our old ways, we have to be intentionally aware of words
we say and hear, and the schemes of the enemy.
John 10:10 The thief comes ONLY to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus
came so that we may have life and have it more abundantly.
Because we’re God’s children and we have chosen His path, ALL
heaven will back us. We have an Amazing Team on our side!
PRAYER:
God, You are full of love, mercy, and grace. Thank You for the rules,
not suggestions, that You have written in Your
word for my good! These rules are to help me remain on Your path
because that is where I choose to be. In reality, I’m on
Your path or the enemy’s path. Holy Spirit, surround me with
like-minded believers to help me grow in the Lord.
Amen and Amen!
NOTE:
The enemy’s path is very dangerous but not lonely. Walking this path
opens the door to wrong spirits. We must become “aware” but not judgemental
of those living in sin so that we can pray and encourage them. Just remember
that who we’re around, and what we let into our hearing range can significantly change
our way of thinking. We must become more “aware” of our surroundings
and ask Holy Spirit to keep us on His path.
