Why should I let Jesus have the reigns of my life?
Many of us like the idea of being in control of our own lives, but often find
ourselves anxious and stressed. No peace, No love, No real enjoyment.
So what are our choices?
By receiving Jesus as our Lord and Savior and repenting of our sins, God forgives
and forgets ALL of our sins – they are erased! Acts 3:19
Now we are part of a Heavenly team that is FULL of wisdom, knowledge,
understanding, common sense, discernment, insight, and revelation. Yes,
they see all, know all, and desire only the best for us.
Remember: we’re not giving anything up, we’re gaining and
receiving SO many blessings by following the Lord.
Once we let Jesus have the reigns (Lordship) of our lives, He takes residence
in us by the power of the Holy Spirit. John 14:6 Jesus said: And I will ask the Father,
and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever…
2 Corinthians 5:17 explains it this way: If anyone is in Christ, he has become brand new.
The old has gone, the new is here!
Our soul (mind, will, and emotions) still wants to be in control and will take time to retrain.
This is where declarations and affirmations of God’s word help us line up with how God
sees us and how we see ourselves. He sees us through Jesus.
We really are His beloved ones!
This blog is to teach us how to “get on” and “stay on” God’s path. When we do, we discover
amazing joy and peace by learning who we are in Christ and how to use the authority Jesus won back for us.
The following posts will guide, instruct, and help us enjoy our short walk on this earth and look
forward to our eternal life in heaven.
We have an enemy on this earth but have no fear Jesus overcame the enemy when He went to the
cross, died, and rose again.
There is Only One King, and that is Jesus Christ.
Getting to know Him is the best decision we could ever make.
