Angelic Forces
Psalms 103:20
“Bless the Lord, all you messengers (angels) of power, for you are His mighty heroes who listen intently to the voice of His word to do it.”
If you believe in Jesus, then you belong to God’s family and His angelic forces are ready to serve you. You now have the right to decree God’s word and know that His (your) angels are ready to see that is done and successful. Remember to be careful of any words said after the decrees – all of our words need to line up with God’s. We don’t want to give the enemy any ammunition to work against us.
What a blessing we have been given, but so many don’t know how to engage their
angels – thus, this post! One important thing to remember is that we do NOT pray
to angels. We pray to the Father in Jesus’ Name. Our angels are here to take
orders from us and for some, that concept can be hard to swallow, but this was God’s
idea not man’s.
I heard a pastor say that our angels are bored and want to work. When we
are walking on God’s path, we have the authority to send them out. Basically,
they listen for God’s word mixed with our belief and faith.
Angels are spirit beings created by God to serve and minister to Him and us.
They live in the spirit realm but can appear in the physical realm.
“Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so, some people have
shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:12
I’ve had some Godly friends tell me of their experience with angels. Two found
they were the only ones to actually see the angels who appeared before them
as two men. The angels left the message “All is well”! This was a very dire
situation, and the angels were correct. The sick relative in the hospital did
a turnaround to everyone’s surprise, except the messengers.
A FEW FACTS ABOUT ANGELS:
They cannot read our minds –
They are not everywhere –
They do not know everything.
Only God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit do all the following.
Angels are very important in our lives but never more important than Jesus. We have the privilege of the authority to command angels because Jesus went to the cross.
GOD CREATED ANGELS TO BE:
- Worshipers – there are a whole group of angels who surround God’s throne singing “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts…” Isaiah 6:3
2. Guides – In Luke 2:8-10, the angels appeared to the shepherds and told them of Jesus’ birth. Also, angels are assigned to believers to help fulfill their destinies and even bring supernatural strength to finish their assignments.
3. Guardians – God assigns His angels to guard and protect those who love Him. “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear (reverence) Him.” Psalm 34:7 “I send angels before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place (destiny or assignment) I have prepared.” Exodus 23:20
4. Messengers – In Luke 1:26-28, God sent Gabriel to deliver this message to Mary: “You are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” “Bless the Lord, all you angels, you mighty ones who do His word, obeying the voice of His word! Psalm 103:20 We are also messengers as we speak God’s word. Remember, God’s word is alive and active and continues to work; so speak it out over and over!
People who have seen angels are usually frightened because of their size like 14 to
16 feet and more. The good news is that they are on our side and ready to help us.
I always feel especially good after sending angels out to protect and guide my
family and friends.
When we pray, we need to “see and feel” our prayer as a done deal. We should
use our imagination (seeing things that have not yet appeared) and then
believe. Romans 4:17 says we are to call (see, imagine,) into being that which
does not (yet) exist. Speak God’s word out loud whenever possible. Where
words of doubt stop the angels in their tracks, our words of faith fuel them.
It’s easier to keep the faith if we understand what a Mighty God we serve!
(staying in the word and talking to Jesus will build our relationship
and our understanding)
The 91st Psalm states God has ordered his angels to guard us wherever we
go. Now we have that same authority because Jesus went to the cross! Read
the entire Psalm and pray it over your loved ones.
Declaration/Prayer
Father, I thank You for Jesus Who is the King of Hope! I know You are the
same yesterday, today, and forever – Miracles are for today! Thank You
for giving me the authority to send out angels in my time of need. My job
is to launch and release my angels with words of faith. In Jeremiah 1:12,
Father, You have promised me that when I speak out Your word, You
see it as fulfilled and so do I. That promise gives such peace to my soul.
I give You praise for all Your loving-kindness and Your tender mercies.
Amen and Amen
